We love indulging in our hearty home-cooked cravings every now and then, especially when baked potatoes are concerned. Nothing beats the thick and chewy goodness. Simply put, potato dishes make it to our long list of the ultimate comfort food.

So what if we tell you that we’ve found another easy and delicious way to enjoy our favorite potatoes? One that will instantly become a favorite at home and special gatherings? This dish requires four large baking potatoes, lots of cheddar cheese, some butter and milk, a little sour cream, and yes, bacon! Now if that doesn’t make your mouth water, just wait until you get this potato masterpiece out of the oven.

To get started, make small punctures on the potatoes using a knife, and then place them on a lightly greased baking dish with foil. Bake the potatoes for an hour at 425 degrees Fahrenheit. When they’re done, take the potatoes out to cool. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees this time (twice-baked, remember?)

When the potatoes have cooled down, slice them in half and scoop the potato flesh out into a bowl. You can now add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all together before baking it for another 25 minutes. For the full instruction on how to make this yummy dish, watch the video here.
