The Easiest Dump Cake Recipe I’ve Ever Tried


If you’ve always wanted to bake a cake from scratch but feel too intimidated by all the things you need to time and measure, this fruity dump cake recipe is the perfect recipe. Like the name suggests, you just have to dump all the ingredients in a baking dish, put it in the oven bake for an hour, and you have yourself a dump cake. How easy is that?

It’s a very easy and simple dump cake recipe that also tastes phenomenal. Eat with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or some whipped cream. Two thumbs up!


1 (20-oz) can of crushed pineapple

1 (21-oz) can of cherry pie filling

1 (18-oz) box yellow cake mix

2 sticks of butter, cut in pieces

¼ cup of chopped nuts

Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F if you will be using a glass pan). Put the crushed pineapples onto the pan, juices and all, and spread them evenly. Do the same thing with the cherry pie filling. Next, sprinkle all of the cake mix on top, making sure that it is evenly spread. After that, place the sticks of butter. Finally, put in the chopped nuts. Bake for an hour at 350°F. Slice and serve!
