If you’re a tea lover just like me, chances are you have bags and bags of tea stored in your cupboard. You don’t want to run out, so you make sure that your tea counter is well-stocked. But apart from drinking it, did you know that tea can also be a great deodorizer around the home, and even inside your car?

I tried this simple hack a couple of days ago because the car was starting to smell funky. I remember that there was a bag of leftover Chinese food that we forgot to take out of the car, and now the car smells like a dirty kitchen. No matter how I cleaned and deodorized the inside of the car, there’s still that lingering smell of food.

And then I found this effective but really simple tea bag trick. Not only did the smell disappear completely, my car smells fresh and clean, with just a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. Try it and you will never have to use those store-bought air fresheners again. Tea bags are inexpensive, plus they’re all natural. A box will last you the entire year.
