How many times have you had a bathroom emergency when the toilet gets clogged and there’s no plunger or plumber available? It’s such a hassle, especially when you only have one toilet in the whole house. And as much as you want to borrow a plunger from your neighbor, you’d rather not. Because you just don’t use another person’s toilet plunger on your own toilet. You just don’t.
Bookmark this page for the next time you get a clogged toilet and you are without tools to unclog it. Our friend Brit from Build.com shows us an easy and inexpensive way to unclog a toilet even without a plunger. Most of the time, this trick works on most clogs. But if it doesn’t, there may be a more serious problem causing it that even a plunger can’t solve.
Squeeze some dishwashing soap and let it sit there for about half an hour. It will just seep in to the paper towels and then into the trap way. When that’s done, pour in hot water into the bowl.
If this method doesn’t work the first time, you may have to repeat this process two to three more times. Eventually, the clog will clear up!
